The Member of Parliament, MP, for Kumba Urban Constituency, Hon Tabot Lawson Bakia, has made a donation of fifty (50) benches to Government High School, GHS, Ekemba, Fiango, kumba II Subdivision.
The gesture aimed at improving the infrastructural development of the school and providing a conducive environment for learning.
It comes few weeks after the MP distributed large consignments of didactics, medical equipment, and farm inputs to the populations of Kumba and the entire Meme Division.
The MP had also refurbished some blocks of classrooms at Government Bilingual Primary School, GBPS, Station, kumba I Subdivision, that were in dire needs for repairs.
He has engaged in the rehabilitation of roads and culverts and made numerous humanitarian gestures since 2020 in his constituency.
Apart from these donations, Hon Tabot has carried out the constructions and handing over of boreholes in some neighbourhoods in kumba for the supply of portable water.
To Hon Tabot, many developmental projects and initiatives are in the offing aimed at improving the livelihoods of constituents in Kumba.
