The summary situation of the 2025 Public Investment Budget, PIB, for the South West Region as of December 1, 2025, as stated by the Regional Delegation of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development for the South West, MINEPAT/SWRD, revealed that the Limbe I Council in Fako Division tops the classification chart, out of 33 councils, in the physical execution of projects.
It scored 100 percent in the regional classification of councils.
The council executed six operations during the period under consideration to emerge on the first spot.
Limbe I Council is being trailed by Limbe II Council on 98,54 percent with 7 operations, Bamusso Council on 97,79 percent with 10 projects, Limbe III Council on 97,11 percent with 14 operations, Dikome Balue Council on 97,06 percent with a total of 10 projects, and Idabato Council on 97,00 percent with 11 operations on the 6th position.
Bangem, Isangelle, Idenau, Kumba III, Kombo-Itimdi, Mbonge, Ekondo Titi, Kombo-Abedimo, Nguti, Tiko, kumba II, Muyuka, Tombel, Mundemba, Wabane, Konye, Alou, Buea, Tiko, Kumba I, Menji, Kumba City Council, Akwaya, Limbe City Council, Mamfe, Tinto, and Eyumojock councils, followed in descending order.
Mamfe, Tinto, and Eyumojock councils scored a meagre 16,24 percent,12,80 percent, and 07,60 percent, to occupy the 31st, 32nd, and 33rd positions, respectively.
Ekondo Titi Council in Ndian Division and Alou Council in Lebialem Division have 22 projects each, the highest in the region.
Meanwhile, Ndian Division tops the regional classification of Regional Administration, Regional Assembly, and Divisions as per performance as at December 1, 2025.
It scored 78.48 percent in physical execution with 139 projects.
Kupe Muanenguba Division occupied the second spot on 71.10 percent with 38 projects, Fako Division emerged third on 59.66 percent with 104 operations, Lebialem Division recorded 53.28 percent with 54 projects, Meme Division on 52.77 percent with 74 operations, Regional Assembly with 106 projects on 38.66 percent, Regional Administration (Governor) with 23 projects, scored 32.67 percent; and Manyu Division on 19.82 percent with 47 operations.
These give the South West Region a total of 585 projects with a score of 53.82 percent
